About

Dewdrop Campground sits on a multi-tiered hillside above Kinzua Bay, a quiet arm of the 25-mile-long Allegheny Reservoir in northwest Pennsylvania. The 11-acre campground offers 74 family sites arranged across several loops, with many sites providing views of the water. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, pressurized drinking water fountains, and an RV dump station. Each site has a picnic table, fire grill, and tent pad, with some sites offering electric hookups. Water recreation is a major draw. A one-lane concrete boat launch provides direct reservoir access for campers, supporting fishing, boating, and water skiing. The Jakes Rocks Epic Mountain Bike Trail system connects to the campground, offering purpose-built singletrack on the mountain behind the sites. A 2.5-mile interpretive trail loops through the campground itself, and a children's play area rounds out the amenities. The campground lies along the Longhouse National Scenic Byway, a winding loop around the Kinzua Arm that includes PA-59, PA-321, and Forest Road 262. Kinzua Dam and the Kinzua Point Information Center are short drives away. Bear-resistant food storage is required.
