Casa Grande Ruins National Monument closed for the Christmas holiday
Casa Grande Ruins will be closed Wednesday, December 25th for the Christmas Holiday. The monument closes to the public four days each year, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Juneteenth, and Independence Day. The park will reopen on December 26th.
Casa Grande Ruins Visitor Center to Close Sundays and Mondays through September 22
From July 6 through September 22, 2025, the park visitor center will close each Sunday and Monday, with passport stamps, brochures, and Jr Ranger books available on the visitor center patio. The park itself remains open seven days a week, 9am to 4pm.
WNP bookstore to go cashless
Beginning Tuesday, July 29, the Western National Parks bookstore here at Casa Grande Ruins will be cashless. The bookstore will accept credit card and contactless payments only.
