North Central Raleigh County in southeastern West Virginia... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 436 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mount Hope, Piney View, Meadow Bridge and Thurmond. This includes Route 19 between mile markers 6 and 9.

Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Lick Creek, Eagle Branch, Boggs Run, Meadow River, Big Clear Creek, Kitchen Creek, Little Creek, Beaver Creek, Little Clear Creek, Fitzwater Branch, Big Run, Burns Run, Dry Run, Fisher Creek, Greenbrier River, Joe Knob Branch and Boggs Creek.
