Low water conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday September 19-20
Water levels on the Gauley River will be lowered on Tuesday, September 19 and potentially extending into Wednesday, September 20 making rafting or kayaking difficult if not impossible.
Mason's Branch Road closure
Mason's Branch Road will be closed for culvert repair from Monday March 17 through Thursday March 20.
Gauley Tailwaters Campground Closure
The Tailwaters Campground in Gauley River National Recreation Area, located below Summersville Dam, will temporarily close from September 2 through September 23 in order to allow for more parking and better river access during the busy Gauley season.
