About

Yeoman Park Campground occupies a scenic location at 9,000 feet elevation on the edge of a wetland meadow near Brush Creek, partly within a mature spruce forest. The 24 campsites are divided between Loop A and Loop B, with 15 sites nestled in the forest and 9 sites in open meadow offering expansive views of Craig Peak (11,902 ft). Eleven sites include tent platforms for those without ground camping gear. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the Yeoman Park-Fulford area. A highlight is the extensive beaver colony visible from the meadow, and the accessible fishing platform on Brush Creek near the park entrance offers opportunities for anglers of all abilities. The Yeoman Park Discovery Trail, a 200-yard accessible interpretive path, features sensory-focused signs encouraging visitors to experience the natural environment. This is a primitive camping experience with vault toilets but no potable water, hookups, or dump station. Campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash. Most sites include picnic tables and fire grills, with two ADA-accessible sites in Loop A featuring modified tables and low fire grills adjacent to accessible vault toilets.
