About

Mollie B Campground is located in White River National Forest on the shores of Ruedi Reservoir, a popular destination for fishing, boating, and water sports. The campground sits at an elevation just under 7,800 feet and is surrounded by mixed conifer forest with views of the reservoir and nearby peaks. Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 40 feet. The Fryingpan River below Ruedi Dam is designated Gold Medal Waters by the Colorado Wildlife Commission, with special regulations requiring artificial flies and lures only. Large rainbow, brown, cutthroat, and brook trout feed on mysis shrimp stocked in the lake. The 8-mile Ruedi Trail climbs over 3,000 feet to the top of Red Table Mountain for panoramic views. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-proof food locker. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Boat trailers must be parked at the Marina area rather than in the campground. A 14-day stay limit applies.
