About

Yellowstone Lake State Park Campground sits in the rolling hills of Lafayette County, Wisconsin, offering 128 individual family campsites spread through a wooded area near the 450-acre lake. Thirty-eight sites feature electrical hookups, while the remaining sites are non-electric. The campground operates year-round with vault toilets and drinking water always available. During the warmer months, campers have access to flush toilets, hot showers, and an RV dump station. The park provides excellent access to Yellowstone Lake, which offers swimming at a designated beach, fishing for panfish and bass, and boat launching facilities. A network of trails accommodates hiking and biking in summer and cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in winter. Five group camping sites accommodate larger parties, with three offering electrical hookups. Two campsites (42 and 49) are designated accessible with electricity, and accessible flush toilets, showers, and a fishing pier are available. Firewood is sold at the park office.
