About

Woodard Creek Campground sits along the Columbia River within Beacon Rock State Park, part of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This small campground offers 5 full-hookup RV sites and 2 standard sites, all reservable through the Washington State Parks system. The sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire rings with grills, and can accommodate RVs and trailer combinations up to 40 feet in length. The campground operates year-round and serves as a gateway to the park's extensive trail system, including 26 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails. Beacon Rock itself offers iconic rock climbing routes and a historic trail with 52 switchbacks built directly into the rock face. The park provides restrooms with showers, drinking water, and trash service. Located on the north bank of the Columbia River below Bonneville Dam, campers can enjoy fishing for sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, bass, and walleye. Built as part of the larger Beacon Rock State Park complex, Woodard Creek Campground appeals to RV campers seeking full amenities in a forested Columbia River Gorge setting. The park entrance requires a Washington State Discover Pass.

Woodard Creek Campground is located within Beacon Rock State Park in Washington. From Stevenson, WA, head west on WA-14 for approximately 6 miles. The campground will be on your right, just past the main park entrance.
