About

Woodard Creek Campground sits within the 4,458-acre Beacon Rock State Park in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The campground features 5 full hookup sites (electric, water, sewer) and 2 standard sites positioned along the winding creek that flows into the Columbia River. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with flush restrooms and showers available. The park offers extensive recreation including hiking to the 848-foot Beacon Rock monolith via a well-engineered switchback trail, rock climbing on the north face, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing. The park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s and retains historic character throughout.
