About

Wolf Pen Campground is a small, primitive camping area located alongside the Mulberry River in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in northwestern Arkansas. The campground features 6 primitive campsites with space for small camping trailers, plus a picnic area designed for 5 family units. Vault toilets are available, but campers must bring their own drinking water. The Mulberry River is renowned for canoeing and kayaking, with dramatic rock bluffs providing a scenic backdrop. Fishing and hunting opportunities are available nearby in season. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Payment can be made on-site via cash, check, or by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app where cellular service permits. Interagency Senior and Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on single campsite fees. The Pleasant Hill Ranger District manages the area and can provide current conditions and information.
