About

Wish Poosh Campground occupies a forested setting on the southeastern shore of Cle Elum Lake in Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. At 2,250 feet elevation, the campground provides 34 sites spread through a mixed conifer forest, accommodating both tent campers and RVs. The location serves as a base for exploring the surrounding mountains and lake. Recreational opportunities include hiking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, and mountain biking during summer and early fall. The Pacific Crest Trail is accessible nearby, and Speelyi Beach offers a sandy swimming area surrounded by conifers. Anglers should note that lake water levels drop through summer as water is drawn for irrigation, typically closing the boat ramp by early July. The campground operates on a mixed reservation and first-come, first-served basis through Recreation.gov. Sites include picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. Note that the drinking water system and flush toilets are currently out of order; portable toilets are provided and campers must bring their own water.
