Lake Easton State Park Campground

Open — The campground and dump station are closed for winter from November 1 through May 1. Winter camping is allowed in the day-use and boat launch parking areas. A Sno-Park permit is required December 1 through March 31.

About

Lake Easton State Park Campground spans 697 forested acres along the shores of Lake Easton in the Cascade Mountain foothills, conveniently located off I-90 between Seattle and Ellensburg. The campground provides 24,000 feet of freshwater access and serves as a popular escape for urbanites seeking quick getaways. During the main season, the campground offers a variety of sites ranging from full hookups to non-hookup options, with some sites accommodating RVs up to 60 feet. Four accessible restrooms with showers serve the campground, and an on-site dump station is available. The park also features a walk-in group camp for up to 50 people. Summer activities include swimming, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, and boating on Lake Easton, though boat motors are limited to 10 horsepower due to the shallow reservoir with submerged stumps. The day-use area offers picnic facilities, grills, horseshoes, basketball, and a playground. Winter transforms the park into a Sno-Park with groomed trails for both motorized and non-motorized recreation. Snowmobile trails connect to the larger Kachess and Stampede Pass trail systems. Campers should note that the campground's proximity to I-90 results in highway noise, and earplugs are recommended for light sleepers.
