About

Willow River State Park Campground is one of Wisconsin's most popular camping destinations, located on the southern shore of Little Falls Lake within the park's 2,891 acres of rolling countryside. The campground offers 120 family camping sites divided into multiple areas. The 300 campground provides 70 sites in a mature, shaded setting with flush toilets and showers, while the 100 campground offers 50 sites in a newer prairie area with less shade but the ability to accommodate everything from tents to the largest recreational vehicles. The campground features a mix of electric and non-electric sites, with approximately 47 sites offering electrical hookups. Six pull-through sites in the 100 campground can accommodate large RVs. During the main season, the campground provides modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Campground hosts are available in the 300 campground to assist campers with information. The park's campground is well-maintained, with staff regularly inspecting camp spurs, tent pads, fire rings, and picnic tables. Reservations are available through the Wisconsin State Park System. The campground operates seasonally, with the 100 and 300 campgrounds closing in November, while the 200 campground remains open for limited winter camping. Firewood is available for purchase at the park office and from campground hosts during evening hours in season. The campground's proximity to Little Falls Lake, Willow Falls, and extensive trail systems makes it a popular base for exploring the park's natural features.
