The park maintains four rustic camper cabins situated in the Savanna Campground on the bluff, with three winterized cabins available year-round and one seasonal cabin. Each cabin accommodates five to six people and features bunk beds, interior table with bench seating, and a screened porch for enjoying the outdoors while protected from insects. The cabins are designed for those who want to experience camping without bringing their own shelter. Each cabin site includes an outdoor fire ring and picnic table. Restroom facilities with flush toilets and showers are available in the campground during the main season. The park offers diverse recreation opportunities including hiking trails through savanna and woodland landscapes, swimming at Lake Alice beach, and access to the St. Croix River for fishing and canoeing. William O'Brien State Park is located at 16821 O'Brien Trail N, Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047. From I-94, take Exit 258 for MN-95 N toward Stillwater. Continue on MN-95 N for approximately 20 miles. The park entrance will be on your left.
