About

William M. Tugman State Park offers a quiet, forested camping experience on the banks of Eel Lake, a warm freshwater lake known for excellent bass fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating. The campground is nestled within a mature stand of shore pines, providing shade and privacy between sites. All 93 electrical sites include water hookups, with two designed for accessible use. The park also features 16 yurts, including three accessible units and eight pet-friendly options. Pet-friendly yurt reservations must be made by phone. A hiker/biker camp is available for those traveling without vehicles. Campground amenities include flush restrooms, hot showers, and an RV dump station located at the park entrance. Firewood is available for purchase. Eel Lake connects to Tenmile Lake via a navigable waterway, expanding opportunities for exploration by canoe or kayak. A fully accessible fishing dock and boat ramp provide easy water access. The nearby Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area offers additional hiking, OHV riding, and coastal dune exploration.
