William M. Tugman State Park sits on the shores of Eel Lake near the community of Lakeside on Oregon's south coast. Despite its proximity to Highway 101, the park remains a peaceful retreat surrounded by mature shore pines. The campground offers 94 developed campsites with electric and water hookups suitable for RVs and trailers, plus 16 yurts for those seeking a different camping experience. The park features plumbed restrooms with hot showers (open daily 7am-9pm), a day-use area with reservable gazebo-style shelter, boat ramp, fishing dock, and a pet exercise area. Eel Lake provides excellent opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Each campsite includes parking for one vehicle with space for a second vehicle for an additional fee. The park's location provides easy access to nearby attractions including the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and the Pacific Ocean beaches. Reservations are available year-round through the Oregon State Parks reservation system. The campground accommodates RVs up to approximately 55 feet, with back-in sites featuring driveways ranging from the mid-20s to mid-50s feet in length. Many of the yurts are ADA accessible and several are pet-friendly.

William M. Tugman State Park is located on US Highway 101, approximately 8 miles south of Reedsport and 17 miles north of Coos Bay, on the east side of the highway.
