About
The group campgrounds at Whitewater State Park are located within the Minneiska Campground, which opened in August 2017. Three group camps are available: GC1 (40-person capacity, $250/night), GC2 (50-person capacity, $150/night), and GC3 (25-person capacity, $100/night). Each site features its own picnic shelter, fire rings with grills, and picnic tables, with access to potable water. A distinguishing feature of these group camps is access to a shared modern restroom building with flush toilets and showers, a notable upgrade from the primitive toilets found at most Minnesota state park group camps. The campground is surrounded by the park's dramatic landscape of 200-foot limestone bluffs, deep ravines, and spring-fed streams known for trout fishing. Reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance through reservemn.usedirect.com or by calling 866-857-2757. A non-refundable reservation fee applies ($8 online, $10 by phone). Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times, and only approved firewood is permitted.
Directions
