About

White River Campground is a rustic, no-fee campground nestled in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest within White Pine County, Nevada. Located about 40 miles west of Ely via US-6 and Forest Road 405, this small campground offers five dispersed-style sites along the White River. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring. The campground has vault toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply. Popular activities include stream fishing in the White River and OHV riding on nearby trails. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash within the campground. Horses and pack animals are also allowed. The campground operates seasonally from late May through mid-October, weather and conditions permitting.
