About

Wall Doxey State Park campground is centered around a beautiful 60-acre spring-fed lake and offers excellent camping options just 7 miles south of Holly Springs, Mississippi. The campground provides 64 developed campsites with water and electrical hookups, picnic tables, and grills. Bathhouses with hot showers and a central sewage dumping station serve the developed camping area. For those seeking a more rustic experience, 17 wooded primitive sites are available with water, restrooms, and showers within walking distance. The park also features a designated scout camping area. Beyond camping, Wall Doxey offers abundant recreational opportunities including two 18-hole disc golf courses, a 2.5-mile nature trail around Spring Lake, fishing, boating, and multiple playgrounds. The park's location makes it ideal for visiting the antebellum homes of Holly Springs or spending a football weekend at Ole Miss, just 25 minutes away. Forty picnic sites with tables and grills provide scenic lake views, and four large pavilions are available by reservation. The park also offers nine vacation cabins and a group camp facility for larger gatherings.

Directions

From Interstate 55 south, take exit 265 at Senatobia. Turn left onto Highway 4 east to Highway 7. Turn right onto Highway 7 South toward Oxford and continue 5.5 miles. Park entrance is on the right. From Interstate 55 north, take exit 243A at Batesville onto Highway 6/278 to the Highway 7 North exit. Turn left onto Highway 7 North and continue 22 miles. Park entrance is on the left.
