Located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Tyler State Park encompasses 1,711 acres of carefully preserved farmland and woodland just 33 miles from Center City Philadelphia. Neshaminy Creek meanders through the property, dividing the park into distinct sections and providing opportunities for boating and fishing. The park's extensive trail network accommodates hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians, while a disc golf course offers additional recreation. Tyler State Park maintains its historical character through preserved structures that now serve cultural purposes. The Spring Garden Mill, once a grain and feed mill, has been converted into a community theater operated by the Langhorne Players. The Tyler Park Center for the Arts occupies a former equestrian and hay barn, offering art classes, workshops, and studios. The park provides environmental education programs from September through May, including curriculum-based programs for schools and organized groups. This is a day-use park and does not offer overnight camping facilities. Visitors seeking camping in the region should consider nearby French Creek State Park. From I-95, take Exit 49 (Newtown/Yardley) and follow PA 413 North. The park entrance is on the left at the intersection of Swamp Road and PA 413.
