About

Nockamixon State Park is a 5,286-acre destination in the rolling hills of Bucks County, centered around a 1,450-acre lake fed by three creeks. Close enough to Philadelphia for a day trip yet secluded enough for a getaway, the park offers ten modern cabins as its sole overnight accommodation. Each cabin features a furnished living area, a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, a private bathroom with toilet and shower, and electric heat. Outdoor amenities include a fire ring, grill, and picnic table at each cabin. Two-bedroom cabins sleep six guests; three-bedroom cabins sleep eight. Cabins 1, 2, 3, and 6 allow dogs, while cabins 4 and 6 are ADA accessible. Renters must supply their own linens, towels, cookware, and tableware. During summer peak season, cabins require a one-week rental; the rest of the year has a two-night minimum. Beyond the cabins, the park offers a swimming pool, marina with boat rentals, over 20 miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking, equestrian trails, a disc golf course, excellent warmwater fishing, and winter recreation opportunities. A sanitary dump station is available at the marina for boaters.
