About

Two Lakes Campground is a popular destination in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, nestled between Lake Owen and Bass Lake. The campground offers 94 spacious campsites, including 7 walk-in sites, situated within red and white pines and mixed hardwoods. Many sites offer sweeping views of the lakes. Most sites can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet, with some sites handling rigs up to 50 feet. Each site includes a defined parking spur, fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad. The recreation opportunities are extensive. Lake Owen is a 1,250-acre lake known for excellent fishing for northern pike, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and is popular for water sports including power boating, water skiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Bass Lake is a smaller 63-acre non-motorized lake ideal for quiet paddling and fishing for panfish. The campground features two swimming beaches, boat launches with parking on both lakes, and a fishing pier. Watercraft rentals including paddle boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards are available from the campground manager. Hikers can explore the Bass Lake Trail, a three-quarter-mile interpretive trail, and access the North Country National Scenic Trail, which passes through the campground from the adjacent Porcupine Lake Wilderness Area. The paved interior campground road is excellent for biking. The campground is conveniently located about 5 miles southeast of Drummond, making it easy to access supplies or visit the historical museum. This concessionaire-operated campground provides drinking water, vault toilets, an RV dump station, and garbage and recycling services.
