The resultant runoff may cause water levels in area rivers to increase and flooding is possible. * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band and the northwestern county of the Lac du Flambeau Band. Other locations including Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. * WHEN...From this evening through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Around 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected to fall over several inches of lingering snowpack along the South Shore of Lake Superior.
