About

Turkey Creek Park occupies a quiet stretch of Pine Creek Lake's western shoreline in the Ouachita Mountain foothills of southeastern Oklahoma. The campground sits at the confluence of the Little River and the lake, providing convenient water access for anglers and boaters. The surrounding landscape features mixed hardwood and pine forests typical of this transitional zone between the Coastal Plain and Ouachita Mountains. The campground offers 30 reservable sites, with eight featuring 30-amp electric hookups and the remaining 22 being non-electric. Facilities include flush toilets, a dump station, boat ramp, playground, and a swimming area. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. A group picnic shelter is available for day-use only. Pine Creek Lake spans 3,750 acres with 74 miles of shoreline, supporting populations of crappie, white bass, largemouth bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and sunfish. Nearby attractions include Beavers Bend State Park, Raymond Gary State Park, and the historic ruins of Fort Towson.
