About

Lost Rapids Campground occupies a scenic location on the eastern shore of Pine Creek Lake, an Army Corps of Engineers reservoir in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The 3,750-acre lake, fed by the Little River, sits at the edge of the Ouachita Mountains and offers 74 miles of shoreline. The campground features 30 standard sites and one group site, with approximately half of the standard sites equipped with 30-amp electric hookups. Facilities include flush toilets, potable drinking water, and a boat ramp providing direct lake access. Each site has a gravel back-in driveway, shade, and fire pits. The campground is popular with anglers pursuing crappie, white bass, largemouth bass, channel catfish, and flathead catfish. Birders and wildlife photographers also frequent the area for its diverse species. Nearby attractions include Beavers Bend and Raymond Gary State Parks. The historic ruins of Fort Towson, a former military post dating to 1824, are also within driving distance.
