About

Pine Creek Cove is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground located on the western shore of Pine Creek Lake, near the main dam in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The lake spans 3,750 acres with 74 miles of shoreline, fed by the Little River at the edge of the Ouachita Mountains. The campground offers 41 sites with electric and water hookups, plus one non-electric site and a group shelter. Loop O features concrete pads that are very level with 30 amp and 50 amp electrical hookups and water connections. Loop N has asphalt pads that are also very level. Each site includes a picnic table, metal fire ring, grill, and lantern pole. Campground amenities include flush toilets, showers, a dump station, and boat ramp. The beach is popular for swimming, sunbathing, and sandcastle building. The location near the dam is convenient for reaching prime fishing spots on the lake. Nearby attractions include Beavers Bend and Raymond Gary State Parks, as well as the historic ruins of Fort Towson, a Confederate command post built in 1824.
