About

Little River Park is a well-developed Corps of Engineers campground on the western shore of Pine Creek Lake in southeastern Oklahoma. The lake spans 3,750 acres with 74 miles of shoreline, nestled at the edge of the Ouachita Mountains where hardwood and pine forests meet the water. Sites are distributed across multiple loops (A through H), with options ranging from primitive no-hookup spots to premium full-hookup pads featuring 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. The campground caters to both tent campers and large RVs, with pull-through sites up to 40x60 feet that can accommodate rigs approaching 100 feet. Each site includes a picnic table, and the park provides modern restrooms with three showers, two dump stations, and a fish cleaning station. A swimming beach and hiking trail accessible from the campground are popular draws, along with two boat ramps for lake access. Pine Creek Lake is known for largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie fishing. Nearby attractions include Beavers Bend and Raymond Gary State Parks, as well as the historic ruins of Fort Towson, a Confederate command post originally built in 1824.
