About
Tule Bay Campground is a primitive camping area situated on Tule Bay along Priest Lake in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The site lies at roughly 2,500 feet elevation amid forests of hemlock and cedar, with views across the lake to the Selkirk Mountains. Priest Lake is renowned for its exceptionally clear water and offers opportunities for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The nearby Lakeshore Trail provides hiking access along the lake, and the Thorofare channel leads to the Upper Priest Lake Scenic Area. This is a primitive camping area with minimal development, typical of free dispersed camping on national forest land.
