Teacher Bay Campground is a boat-in only campground situated on the pristine shores of Priest Lake in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. Known as Idaho's crown jewel, Priest Lake is flanked by the rugged Selkirk Mountains and offers incredibly clear waters fed by streams cascading from the high peaks. The campground is only accessible by boat, providing a secluded and peaceful camping experience away from vehicle traffic. The campground features basic amenities including picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Campers enjoy activities such as swimming, fishing for Mackinaw trout, Cutthroat trout, and Kokanee salmon, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife viewing. The surrounding area is home to diverse wildlife including deer, elk, moose, grizzly and black bears, wolves, mountain lions, and various bird species including ospreys. Boat launches around Priest Lake can be accessed by traveling north from Priest River, Idaho on State Highway 57. The remote location and boat-in access make this campground ideal for campers seeking solitude and a true backcountry experience on one of Idaho's most beautiful lakes.

Access to Teacher Bay Campground is by boat only. To reach boat launches around Priest Lake, travel north from Priest River, Idaho on State Highway 57. Various boat launches are available around the lake for accessing the campground.
