About

Bottle Bay Campground is a primitive, undeveloped camping area managed by the Idaho Panhandle National Forests in Bonner County, Idaho. This backcountry site is part of the lakeshore camping system and is accessible only by boat or hiking, making it suitable for paddlers, boaters, or backcountry enthusiasts seeking a remote lakeside experience. The campground consists of a single primitive site with no developed facilities. There is no potable water, no trash service, and no formal amenities. Campers must be completely self-sufficient, bringing all supplies and packing out all waste. The area offers stunning natural scenery and opportunities for fishing, swimming, and wildlife viewing in a secluded setting far from developed recreation areas. As an undeveloped site, Bottle Bay operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations and no fees. Access conditions may vary seasonally, and campers should be prepared for primitive conditions typical of backcountry lakeshore camping in the Northern Rockies.

Directions
