Situated a short distance from the banks of the Stillaguamish River in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Tulalip Group Camp provides an ideal setting for group camping excursions along the scenic Mountain Loop Highway. The campground is surrounded by stands of diverse old-growth forests of cedar, fir, and hemlock, and lies in close proximity to several wilderness areas including views of Mt. Baker on clear days. The single group site accommodates up to 60 people and 8 vehicles, with RVs and trailers up to 40 feet permitted. Amenities include picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets. There is no potable water on-site; campers should bring an adequate supply. River access is available via a short trail from the campground, offering fishing opportunities for chinook, coho, pink, and sockeye salmon, as well as steelhead and cutthroat trout. Gate keys are available from Gold Basin Campground's Information Kiosk, and camp hosts at nearby Verlot Campground (milepost 11) can provide assistance, water, and firewood. The campground is located 8.2 miles east of the Verlot Public Service Center.

Directions

From Seattle, go north on I-5 to Everett. Take Exit 194 onto Hwy 2. At Hwy 204, go north to Lake Stevens. Turn north on Hwy 9. Turn east on Hwy 92 to Granite Falls, then continue on Mountain Loop Highway. The campground is 8.2 miles east of the Verlot Public Service Center.
