About

Boardman Group Camp sits on the banks of the Stillaguamish River along the Mountain Loop Scenic Byway in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This reservation-only group campground is ideal for large gatherings of up to 35 people, offering a pull-through gravel driveway that can accommodate up to 8 vehicles including RVs. The campground features vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings with grills at each site, plus trash service. However, there is no potable water on site, so campers must bring their own supply. The area provides excellent access to hiking trails and fishing opportunities in the Stillaguamish River, which supports salmon and trout populations. Surrounded by old-growth forests of cedar, fir, and hemlock, the campground offers a scenic setting with limited cellular service. Gate access keys are available from the Gold Basin Campground Information Kiosk, with a combination code provided in the reservation confirmation email.

Directions

From the Verlot Public Service Center, travel east on the Mountain Loop Scenic Byway for 5.9 miles. The campground is on the north/river side of the road immediately after crossing Boardman Creek.
