The campground typically operates seasonally from late May through early fall. The Mountain Loop Highway between Deer Creek and Bedal Campground closes each winter due to snow, though Tulalip Group Camp is located west of that closure area near Verlot. Reservations required through Recreation.gov.

Situated near the banks of the Stillaguamish River and surrounded by diverse forest, Tulalip Group Camp offers an ideal setting for family reunions, scout troops, and group camping excursions. The campground features one large group site capable of hosting up to 60 people with parking for up to 8 vehicles. The flat, open area along the scenic Mountain Loop Highway accommodates tents, RVs, and trailers up to 40 feet in length with gravel, back-in driveways. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and vault toilets. No potable water is available, so groups must bring their own supply. A short trail leads to the Stillaguamish River for fishing and water access. The surrounding Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides opportunities for hiking, fishing, picnicking, and horseback riding in warmer months, with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing available in winter. The campground is located 8.2 miles east of the Verlot Public Service Center along the Mountain Loop Highway. Reservations are required and can be made through Recreation.gov.
