The campground is currently closed despite the typical operating season of March 1 through October 31. Dawson County manages all day-to-day operations and opening dates. Reservations are handled through the Dawson County Recreation online system.

About
Toto Creek Campground lies approximately 30 miles north of Buford Dam on Lake Sidney Lanier, one of Georgia's most popular recreation destinations with 38,000 surface acres of water and 692 miles of shoreline. The campground offers 9 primitive tent-only campsites, each equipped with an impact pad, picnic table, fire pit, and lantern hanger. A communal water hydrant is located near site #1. The park features a bathhouse with restrooms and showers, three boat ramps, a courtesy dock, trails, and day-use areas with picnic facilities. Activities include fishing, swimming, and boating on the lake's aqua-blue waters, set against the backdrop of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains foothills. Nearby attractions include Amicalola Falls State Park (30 minutes northwest) and the historic towns of Dawsonville and Dahlonega. Camping reservations are handled exclusively online through Dawson County Recreation. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out by 1:00 p.m. Maximum stay is 14 nights within any 30-day period. Gates lock at 10:30 p.m. and reopen at 7:00 a.m. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

From Georgia Highway 400 North, exit left for Harmony Church Rd. heading east; stay straight onto Price Rd.; turn right on Toto Creek Park Rd.; turn right to continue on Toto Creek Park Rd.; road dead ends into park. Physical address is 154 Toto Creek Park Rd., Dawsonville, GA 30506.
