The Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds in Forsyth County are being co-managed between Lake Sidney Lanier and Forsyth County Parks and Rec. NW at 10-15 mph; with gusts as high as 25 mph. * Relative Humidity... Falling below 25% by early afternoon. * Temperatures... 30s to 40s. * Impacts... With elevated winds and low relative humidities, extremely dangerous fire weather conditions are possible.

Bald Ridge Creek Campground is located on Lake Sidney Lanier, a 38,000-acre reservoir known for its aqua-blue waters and 692 miles of shoreline nestled in the foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains. The campground features 78 spacious campsites, all equipped with 50-amp electric and water hookups, with many sites offering direct views of the lake. The campground provides excellent access to water-based recreation including fishing, swimming, boating, wakeboarding, and kayaking. On-site facilities include a swimming beach, boat ramp, dump station, laundry facilities, and modern bathhouses. The campground also offers opportunities for bike riding and exploring the surrounding terrain. Management of the campground is now shared between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Forsyth County Parks and Recreation, with the county handling day-to-day operations and reservations. The county honors America the Beautiful passes for discounts. By boat, visitors can explore numerous coves and islands on the lake, and nearby attractions include Sawnee Mountain Preserve for hiking and rock climbing, and the city of Cumming for shopping and dining.

From Atlanta, take SR 400 North to Exit 16, turn right on Pilgrim Mill Road, turn right on Sinclair Shoals Road, turn left on Bald Ridge Road. Follow signs into campground.
