The Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds in Hall County are being co-managed between the USACE at Lake Sidney Lanier and Hall County Parks and Rec. Duckett Mill Campground sits along the scenic shores of Lake Sidney Lanier in Hall County, Georgia, offering 111 campsites for a variety of camping experiences. The campground features 97 sites with water and electric hookups, plus 14 tent-only sites, providing options for both RV campers and tent enthusiasts. Built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950s, Lake Lanier spans 38,000 surface water acres with over 692 miles of shoreline and attracts over 11 million visitors annually. The campground provides modern amenities including restrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, and a playground for families. Campers have access to a swimming beach and boat ramp located just outside the campground, making it easy to enjoy the lake's aqua-blue waters. The lake is renowned for recreational activities including fishing, swimming, boating, wake boarding, and kayaking. Surrounded by rolling farmland in northern Georgia, the campground offers a peaceful retreat with spectacular scenery. Duckett Mill Campground is cooperatively managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Hall County Parks and Recreation, with the county handling day-to-day operations and reservations. The campground honors America the Beautiful passes for discounts. Located just one hour from Atlanta via State Route 400, the campground provides convenient access to nearby attractions including Don Carter State Park and Sawnee Mountain Preserve.

Take State Route 400 north to exit 17, turn right on Georgia Highway 306, turn right on Georgia Highway 53, turn right on Duckett Mill Road. Follow Duckett Mill Road into the campground.
