Little Hall Shelter

Little Hall Shelter is a day-use group picnic facility located within Little Hall Park on Lake Sidney Lanier in Hall County, Georgia. Situated approximately 30 miles north of Buford Dam, the park offers beautiful views of the lake and excellent access to swimming, picnicking, and boating. The facility includes a reservable group shelter with access to a designated swim beach, picnic areas, and restrooms. Visitors can access the nearby Laurel Ridge Hiking Trail, a 3.5-mile loop offering views of the lake and Chattahoochee River. Lake Lanier boasts 38,000 surface acres, 690 miles of shoreline, and over 100 small islands set against the forested foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a day-use only facility. Overnight camping is not available at Little Hall Shelter. Shelter reservations must be made in advance through Recreation.gov and cannot be made in person at the park. On Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day weekends, shelters are first-come, first-served. Alcohol, fireworks, amplified live music, and P.A. systems are prohibited. Day-use park fees apply to all visitors and are not included in shelter reservations.

From Georgia Highway 400, take exit 17, turn right onto Hwy. 306 and follow signs for Hwy. 53, turn right onto Hwy. 53, turn right into Little Hall Park.
