Tip Top Group Campground is located in Laurens County within the Enoree Ranger District of Sumter National Forest in upstate South Carolina. The Enoree Ranger District is the largest district of Sumter National Forest, comprising roughly 170,000 acres across Chester, Fairfield, Laurens, Newberry, and Union counties. The campground is currently closed. It does not appear on the Forest Service's active campground listings for Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests, nor is it available for reservation through Recreation.gov. The reason for closure and any timeline for reopening are not documented in publicly available sources. The surrounding Enoree Ranger District offers opportunities for fishing, hiking, horseback riding, boating, hunting, mountain biking, and off-highway vehicle trail riding. Dispersed camping is permitted elsewhere on the district with a required primitive camping permit, available through the Enoree District Office.
