About

Lake Greenwood State Park occupies 914 acres along the shores of Lake Greenwood, an 11,400-acre reservoir in South Carolina's Piedmont region. The park features over 900 acres of hardwood forests and gently rolling hills with nearly a mile of shoreline. As one of 16 South Carolina parks built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the park houses the state's only CCC museum at the Drummond Center. The campground offers 125 paved sites suitable for both RVs and tents. All sites feature water and 50-amp electric hookups along with a picnic table. Many sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Campers have access to hot showers, restrooms, and a dump station. A primitive group camping area accommodating up to 50 people is also available. Recreational opportunities include fishing and boating on the lake, with boat ramps and a fishing pier on site. The East Shoreline Loop trail is open for hiking and biking. The park also features an EV charging station.
