About

Tip Top Campground offers a quiet, uncrowded camping experience in Oregon's Malheur National Forest. With only three sites, this small campground provides solitude and easy access to nearby Delintment Lake. The campground has been recently renovated with new vault restrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. Located at approximately 5,600 feet elevation in the high desert ponderosa pine country, Tip Top is best suited for tent camping and small RVs. The access road is paved from Burns except for the last mile. There is no potable water on site, so campers must bring an adequate supply. Trash service is not provided; all refuse must be packed out. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Camping fees are $6 per night for a single site, with an additional $3 per night for extra vehicles. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out at 12:00 p.m. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and the maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights.
