Tip Top Campground is a small, peaceful campground tucked away in the Malheur National Forest, offering three renovated campsites for those seeking solitude in the woods. Located near Delintment Lake, this recently upgraded campground features new vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. The remote location provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding forest, fishing at nearby Delintment Lake, or simply enjoying the quiet mountain environment. Access to Tip Top is relatively straightforward, with paved roads for most of the journey from Burns, Oregon, and only the last mile on unpaved Forest Road 800. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations available. Campers should come prepared with their own water supply, as none is available on-site. There is no trash service, so visitors are expected to pack out everything they bring in. The campground charges $6 per night for a single site, with an additional $3 fee for extra vehicles, payable by cash or check.
