About

Falls Campground is a small, rustic campground tucked along Emigrant Creek in Oregon's Malheur National Forest. With only 6 standard nonelectric sites, this campground rarely fills, making it an excellent choice for those seeking solitude and a quiet forest experience. The campground sits at the end of a short spur road off Forest Road 43, about 31 miles from Burns. The sites include vault toilets and a hand pump for drinking water, though the water system is only operational during warmer months, typically mid-May or early June through early October depending on temperatures. There is no trash service, so campers must pack out everything they bring in. Emigrant Creek flows right alongside the campground, providing convenient access for trout fishing without leaving camp. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out is at noon. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. A 14-day stay limit applies. Interagency Senior and Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on the $8 nightly fee. Be prepared to pay with cash or check.
