About

Frazier Campground sits at the headwaters of Frazier Creek within the Ochoco National Forest, offering a tranquil escape among tall grasses and mature ponderosa pines. The campground features 10 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit/grill. Parking spurs vary in size but can accommodate most RVs and cars with trailers. This is a primitive, no-fee campground with vault toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply. There are no hookups, dump station, or trash services. Nearby Forest Service Road 58 provides access to the Sunflower area and the South Fork of the John Day River. Frazier Campground sees its heaviest use during fall hunting season due to its location and access to surrounding forest lands. A 14-day stay limit applies.
