About

Named after a historic Civilian Conservation Corps camp built in the late 1930s, Three C Rock Campground occupies a scenic stretch along the South Umpqua River in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. The campground holds particular significance for anglers as it provides the only permitted fishing access along the South Umpqua River. The campground features eight sites tucked beneath a canopy of mixed conifers, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The maximum trailer length is 35 feet. Payment is handled through the Recreation.gov Scan & Pay system as cash and checks are no longer accepted. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and dogs must remain on leash. OHV/ATV use is prohibited within the campground. Nearby Cathedral Falls Trail offers hiking opportunities. Be aware that poison oak grows in the surrounding vegetation.
