Open — Open year-round. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive days from March through November, and 28 days during December, January, and February. Only certified heat-treated firewood is permitted.

Located on the scenic Tims Ford Lake near Winchester, Tennessee, Tims Ford State Park Campground provides a variety of camping options in a beautiful lakeside setting. The Main Campground offers 52 sites with 30-amp electric and water hookups, along with heated bathhouses, picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and playground access. The Fairview Campground features 82 sites with 20, 30, or 50-amp electrical service and water hookups, with 31 sites providing full sewer hookups. Turkey Creek offers 20 primitive tent-only sites with fire rings and picnic tables but no hookups. A dump station serves self-contained rigs, and a year-round camp store provides convenience for campers. For those seeking a more remote experience, the park offers 14 backcountry campsites accessible by hiking or paddling, including sites on Evans Loop Trail and various lake islands. All developed sites accommodate up to six people with one RV and one tent, or two tents per site. The park is situated on the north shore of the 10,700-acre Tims Ford Reservoir near the Cumberland Plateau escarpment, providing opportunities for fishing, boating, hiking, and golfing at the adjacent Bear Trace golf course.

From Winchester, TN, take US-50 W for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mansford Road and continue for about 2 miles. The park entrance will be on your right.
