About

Pickwick Landing State Park Campground is situated on the shores of Pickwick Lake, a 43,100-acre reservoir created by Pickwick Landing Dam on the Tennessee River. The park spans 1,407 acres in southwest Tennessee near the Alabama and Mississippi borders, making it a popular destination for water recreation enthusiasts. The main campground features 48 wooded sites, each equipped with electric hookups (various configurations including 20/30/50 amp), water hookups, a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. A centrally located bathhouse offers flush toilets and hot showers, and an RV dump station is available. The campground is typically open year-round. Bruton Branch Primitive Campground on the north side of the lake offers 33 additional sites, most with direct lake access, though these lack individual hookups. Beyond camping, the park offers a full-service marina, boat ramps, swimming beach, fishing, an 18-hole golf course, disc golf, tennis courts, and nature trails. The area is known for excellent bass and catfish fishing.
