About

Pickwick Landing State Park Campground is situated on the shores of Pickwick Lake in Hardin County, Tennessee, just south of Pickwick Dam and 14 miles south of Savannah. The main campground features 48 wooded sites, each equipped with a picnic table, grill, and electrical and water hookups. Sites offer various amperage options including 20/30/50 amp configurations, with two ADA-compliant sites available. A centrally located bathhouse and dump station serve the campground. The park also operates Bruton Branch Recreation Area, a primitive campground on the north side of Pickwick Lake off Highway 128. This area features 33 sites, most located directly on the lake, without individual electrical or water sources. A bathhouse with showers and non-treated well water is available, along with a playground and boat ramp. Both campgrounds remain open year-round. Pickwick Lake is noted for excellent water recreation including fishing, boating, swimming, and water sports. The park includes a full-service marina with dry boat storage and boat slips, three public launching ramps, disc golf, hiking trails, and multiple swimming beaches. The 1,516-acre park also features a lodge, restaurant, cabins, and an 18-hole golf course.
