About
Temple Bar RV Park is located at Temple Bar Marina in the Temple Basin on the Arizona side of eastern Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Approximately 75 miles from Las Vegas, it provides a quieter alternative to the more crowded Boulder Basin areas. The concessionaire-operated RV park offers 10 sites with full hookups including electric (30 amp and 50 amp options), water, and sewer connections. The marina complex provides convenient amenities including coin-operated showers and laundry facilities, public restrooms, a convenience and gift shop, and a seasonal cafe. Boaters benefit from the nearby launch ramp and fuel dock. The distinctive Temple rock formation and 20-mile water ski runs make this a popular destination for water recreation. Reservations are made directly through the concessionaire at templebarlakemead.com rather than Recreation.gov. Wheelchair accessible sites are available. Visitors should note that Lake Mead National Recreation Area entrance fees apply in addition to camping fees.
Directions
From Las Vegas, take US-93 south toward Kingman. Exit onto Temple Bar Road and follow it approximately 28 miles to Temple Bar Marina.
