Boulder Beach Group Campsites is located within Lake Mead National Recreation Area along the Boulder Basin, just minutes from Las Vegas and Boulder City. The campground features five reservable group sites designed for tent camping, each accommodating a minimum of 12 and maximum of 30 people. Sites are paved with limited vehicle parking, and motor vehicles must remain in designated parking areas. The area offers views of Lake Mead, Fortification Hill, and the River Mountains, with vegetation including palm trees, oleanders, and mature cottonwoods providing some shade. Boulder Beach is about a 20-minute walk from the campground, and nearby recreation includes swimming, kayaking, and jet skiing at Special Events Beach, Canoe/Kayak Beach, and PWC Beach. The paved River Mountains Loop Trail (30+ miles) passes directly by the campground and connects to the Historic Railroad Trail. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 100°F from June through August, with May and September highs around 90°F. Winter lows can reach freezing December through February. The Hoover Dam is just minutes south on US Highway 93, and Boulder City offers additional dining and services.

Directions

Take US Highway 93 into the Boulder Entrance of Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Follow Lakeshore Road 2 miles and take the second right. The group campground is on the left.
