Willow Beach Campground occupies a striking stretch of the Colorado River below Hoover Dam, where Black Canyon's dramatic walls frame views of desert peaks and cold, clear water released from the dam. The nine tent sites sit adjacent to Willow Beach Marina, giving campers direct access to boat rentals, fishing supplies, and the Willow Beach Grill. Each site comes equipped with a fire ring and picnic table, and the campground shares 24-hour shower and laundry facilities with the neighboring RV park. The location excels for water-based recreation. Lake Mohave's calm, cold waters support year-round fishing for rainbow trout stocked at the nearby Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery. Kayakers can paddle to Arizona Hot Springs or explore the coves and beaches of Black Canyon. Guided raft trips from Hoover Dam terminate here, and the boat launch provides access to the broader Lake Mohave system. Willow Beach sits roughly 30 minutes from Boulder City and 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip via US-93, making it accessible for weekend trips while feeling distinctly remote. The marina store stocks basic provisions, charcoal, and fishing gear. Reservations are handled directly through the concessionaire rather than Recreation.gov.

Directions

From Boulder City, NV, take US-93 south approximately 13 miles. Turn west onto Willow Beach Road and follow it 4 miles down to the marina. The campground is located at 25804 N Willow Beach Rd, White Hills, AZ 86445.
