Tea Creek Campground is a spacious 28-site campground nestled at the intersection of the Williams River and Tea Creek within Monongahela National Forest. The campground serves as a recreational hub for the area, with four trailheads located within the campground providing direct access to the extensive Tea Creek Trail System. Each camping site is equipped with a parking spur, picnic table, fire ring with a grill, waste receptacle, and lantern hookup. Visitors are encouraged to use the three bear-proof trash cages located throughout the campground. The campground operates seasonally from April through November with a maximum stay of 14 days. Sites cost $10 per night and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, payable at the self-service fee station. Check-out time is 2:00 p.m. The campground does not have potable water or restroom facilities, so visitors should come prepared. Dogs are permitted on leash.

Directions

From Marlinton take US Route 219 north 7 miles. Turn left onto State Route 150, the Highland Scenic Highway. Drive approximately 9 miles to the Williams River Bridge turnoff on the left. Turn left at the stop sign onto Forest Road 86 and drive 1 mile. The campground is on the right.
