About

Bishop Knob Campground sits on a wooded ridge in the Monongahela National Forest between the Cranberry and Williams Rivers. The 60-site campground offers a semi-primitive experience with two loops containing 48 single sites and 6 double sites. Each site includes a fire ring, picnic table, lantern pole, and gravel parking spur that can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Four accessible vault toilets are distributed throughout the campground. No electric hookups, showers, or dump station are available on-site, though dump stations can be found at the nearby Cranberry Campground or in Richwood. Pets are welcome on a 6-foot leash. The maximum stay is 14 days. Trout fishing in the Cranberry and Williams Rivers is a popular activity. Several hiking trails are accessible nearby, including the Bishop Knob Trail (2.5 miles), Cranberry Ridge Trail (6 miles), and Adkins Rockhouse Trail (2.1 miles).

Directions

From Dyer, go east on State Route 46 to Forest Road 101, then follow Forest Road 101 for 3 miles to the campground. The campground is approximately 13 miles from Richwood and 3 miles from Dyer.
