About

Located in the heart of Tate's Hell State Forest in Franklin County, High Bluff Primitive Campsites offer a true backcountry camping experience across three separate locations: Dry Bridge, Rake Creek, and Pidcock Road. Each site accommodates up to 8 people and includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill, but campers must be fully self-sufficient as there is no water, electricity, or restroom facilities. A valid Florida fishing license is required for fishing. The primitive sites are located 18-22 miles west of Carrabelle, accessible via forest roads off SR 65.
