About
Sycamore State Park Group Campground is located within the 2,384-acre Sycamore State Park, an oasis of meadows, woodlots, and ponds surrounded by farmland in Montgomery County, Ohio. The facility is designed exclusively for organized groups seeking a rustic retreat near Dayton. The campground offers two separate group areas. Group Camp A features several basic sleeping shelters, restrooms, grills, and a large barn equipped with electricity, a wood-burning stove, refrigerator, and cooking stove. This area is completely wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to 150 people. Group Camp B provides a cabin and open shelter with electric service, restroom facilities, fire ring, and picnic tables, accommodating up to 40 people with ample space for tent camping. Beyond camping, the park offers scenic ponds for hand-powered boating and fishing, multiple hiking and horseback riding trails, picnic shelters, and an archery range. The Barn Lodge in Group Camp A is suitable for meetings, retreats, and reunions year-round.
